5. Finally, enter the username & password twice there to set up an Account, where the Host – IP Address is shown above and the username is what you keeps and the password which you sets for your FTP Tool.

Note: the Account created will show you the Home Directory.

Let’s Start with Linux Server

1. Lo-gin to Open your control panel as you do with your Lo-gin Credentials (details)

2. Now, select FTP Accounts under Files option as shown in the image

3. Enter the details for Username and password. (remember here your username will have a post address like mail structure and you can have a FTP Account with same as email address – they won’t Conflict with each-other)

4. The Host – IP Address can be found on the left side details in Cpanel or else you can use ftp.domain.com by default for Main Domain Or Sub-Directories, but, in case of a Sub-Domain you can use ftp.sub.domain.com

Note: the account created will show by default the Directory names with the Username itself (unless mentioned). i.e. you will be required to mention the directory which you want to use with this account. or else Username with sample will work for Domain.com/sample, by default.

If you are willing to have a Home Directory Account, then it is by default your Control Panel’s Username is at the place of Username and the Password remains the same. similarly, your default email is your Control Panel’s username@domain.com with same password.
